Block Party Time at the Ol’ ATT PAC!

7 07 2011

Tomorrow Evening is the “Ease on Down the Road” block party at the AT&T Performing Arts Center to celebrate the opening of Dallas Theater Center’s The Wiz!  To help usher in this awesome Friday Adventure PSD would like to share with you the fun that happened at the Summer Block Party a few weeks back!

Three weeks ago (well tomorrow it’ll be three weeks) since the ATT PAC held the Summer Block Party that was EPIC AND AWESOME.  PSD had a team of folks covering this massive event that utilized the Dallas Arts District to its fullest. PSD’s videographer Derrick T. Williams captured some amazing action happening out front of the Nasher and the Trammel Crow Asian Art Museum!!

There’s our Derrick chilling.  And here is what he captured on that awesome “RED” Camera of his!

The awesome Dallas Kiyari Daiko Drummers weren’t the only amazing showcase out at the Block Party.

A behind the scenes shot I got right before they got that Dragon a Dancing.

Derrick and I got some shots of the band Calhoun who held a set right on Flora Street just out front of the DMA.

There were also musicians playing in the Nasher Sculpture Garden.

But the real treat was the Polyphonic Spree’s concert out front of the DMA!!  First up is Timmy D sound checking before the concert!

And here are three photos by PSD’s newest (Austin Based) Photographer Jillian Schantz Patrick.

Really simple folks, when the ATT PAC puts on a Block Party its TOTAL FUN! Tomorrow Night come on out!
