Tomorrow Night The AT&T Preforming Arts Center continues its 2010-11 Lexus Broadway Series with the raucous ROCK OF AGES!! Check out the preview for the show and the rest of the 2010-2012 Lexus Broadway Series after the jump.
In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small town girl met an aspiring big city rocker and in LA’s most famous rock club, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the ’80s. An arena rock love story told through the mind-blowing, face-melting hits of JOURNEY, NIGHT RANGER, STYX, REO SPEEDWAGON, PAT BENATAR, TWISTED SISTER, ASIA, and many more.
Rock of Ages, the show The New York Times calls “Impossible to resist”, stars American Idol finalist Constantine Maroulis in his TONY-nominated role and features the following pop hits from the 1980’s:
– “Don’t Stop Believin”
– “I Want To Know What Love Is”
– “Wanted Dead Or Alive”
– “Any Way You Want It”
– “Hit Me With Your Best Shot”
– “Can’t Fight This Feeling”
– “Waiting For A Girl Like You”
– “Any Way You Want It”
– “Sister Christian”
– “Shadows Of The Night”
and many more!!
And yes there is a 92.7 % chance that during “SISTER CHRISTIAN” I’ll have an inner dialogue singing “BROTHER JEWISH” (um so that’s a bit of an inside joke, but I think you can gather the line of humor it invokes”).
Rock of Ages is Rockin’ America!!!
Next month you can check out the final production of the “first half of 2011”.

The 2011-2012 season is eclectic, vibrant and filled with excitement. Whether its showcased in the hippie style of HAIR.
Drenched in the harsh dream of Les Mis that’ll take us into the new year.
We’ll end up traveling from the heart of France to the mean streets of Manhattan in 2012.
Then its off into the basketcased minds’ of those lovable fellows from Green Day.
Then to end things with four fellas from the other side of New York/New Jersey, just seems most fitting.
