We left off last week with the Directing Duo discussing their SXSW Bound film, The Strange Ones.  In particular Chris commented on finding the perfect location.

The area, the motel and the way in which the movie doesn’t showcase “when” this is all happening really gave it a mysterious time-less quality.  Lauren and Chris talk about how the “old” look gives the film a creepy atmosphere.

Now a big element of the film is the pool and the duo talks about its overall importance.

The atmosphere of the film was dramatically impacted by the music in the film.

Lauren and Chris talk about the Sundance experience!

And they then talked about the Greatness of SXSW and Austin.

Lauren and Chris discuss the French company, Ad Astra Films, who acted as the main producers.  The film was Executive produced by SÉBASTIEN AUBERT and DAVID GUIRAUD of Ad Astra Films.  They also discussed producer Joonhan Lee important role stateside.
