Half-ass Monday Blog

Absolutely cannot wait until Always Sunny returns next month….

You will be singing this all day to yourself. Find someone else that knows it, and you two can rock forever.

The Rangers played on last night, a nice 4-2 W to cap off a 5-2 homestand against the Tigers and M”s. However the Rangers can’t seem to catch a break as the Angels won…..again…..and the Redsox walloped the O’s 18-0. Texas remains 4 back in the West and 2.5 back in the WC hunt. Texas had to place Ian Kinsler on the DL with his hammy issue. The club also had to put Jason Grilli there as well. They seem to think Neftali Feliz is ready or they just might want to give him a taste of the bogs before heading back down to AAA. Either way, the Rangers bullpen got even stronger last night as Frankie Fransisco came off the DL and tossed a 1-2-3 8th inning. A definite strong suit as we get closer to September baseball.

Now the club hits the road for a crucial 10 game trip. I have a feeling this trip will be a good indicator of how the rest of the season will be. They will either keep things close with the Halos, or it will mark the beginning of this great season finally having it’s playoff hopes slip out of reach. It does not bode well that Kevin Millwood is being pushed back again as Nip gets another start, hope things go well tonight by the bay.

In other sports stuff happened last night, but we are short on time today, but it should be noted that Tiger took care of #69 yesterday at the Buick.

Hope everyone does enough to fight through Monday. We will talk at you this afternoon.
